Recently, our website Besteciler.com has been subjected to various cyberattacks.
According to the initial technical investigations, it is believed that the individuals responsible for these attacks are most likely what are commonly referred to as “script kiddies.” These are generally people without advanced technical expertise who rely on exploits, ready-made scripts, or publicly available vulnerabilities created by others, and who attempt to present themselves as “hackers” by making only minor modifications to files or systems.
Targeting a platform dedicated to cultural and artistic content is neither a technical achievement nor a source of any real prestige. Besteciler.com is an independent platform focused solely on composers, lyricists, cultural heritage, and artistic writings that have left a mark on music history. Attempting to damage such a platform can only be seen as a reflection of immaturity and lack of purpose.
For security reasons, some sections of the website have been temporarily disabled. A significant portion of our content is currently being restored from backups, and our technical work continues without interruption.
In addition, server logs, IP records, and technical data are being thoroughly examined in order to identify the individual or individuals responsible for these attacks. Based on the collected evidence, the necessary legal and criminal proceedings will be initiated through our legal representatives.
It is a serious misconception for people on the internet to believe that being anonymous means leaving no digital traces behind.
